Upcoming: Goal Tracking on Ad Campaigns
The Internet provides a distinct advantage over more formal advertising as it allows Advertisers to measure and then justify their spending far more effectively. As an example, we have many Advertisers who themselves track conversions on their site, which is important information they then use to help make any future advertising decisions.
Obviously if an Advertiser has a good experience with quality leads and conversions then they would normally run the same or a similar campaign.
The problem is only a small portion of Advertisers have the ability to do this mainly through their limited technical ability or time.
We feel the need therefore to offer all Advertisers the opportunity to measure their conversions with ease, simply by adding some code to their site.
In the coming week we will be releasing Goal Tracking for all our Advertisers benefit.
The need for measuring conversions is quite simple… the Advertiser will know exactly how effective their campaign was!
It will be easy for Advertisers to use and activating Goal Tracking simply by adding some code to their website that a visitor can only access if they perform an action that meets their defined goal.
Goal Tracking can be very useful as well to help split test to see which ads work best etc… An Advertiser for example could have 2 ads running that are different in nature but the goal is the same. At the end of each campaign the Advertiser can then see which one was more effective.
We do feel Goal Tracking is vital to our Advertisers which is why we plan on rolling it out within the next week. When we do we will be notifying our Advertisers so they can start taking advantage of, start measuring and start making informed decisions using Goal Tracking!
